The Reason

Justin was frustrated with his smile and he was looking for a solution to fix it. He had limited oral care as a child and he unfortunately had several adult teeth which never developed. Due to these issues, Justin had lots of dentistry on his upper teeth and several missing teeth. This existing dentistry was starting to fail and Justin was looking for a plan that could give him his smile back.

This case was unique for several reasons.

First, the patient had many previous consultations. He felt the least amount of judgement and the most security with our plan. Secondly, Justin had spent thousands of dollars trying to fix his existing upper dentition. Almost all his upper teeth had root canals and many of these were failing. In order to save his upper teeth these root canals needed to be redone and new crowns made. Even if this was completed, the prognosis of his upper teeth would be questionable at best. Lastly, on the same day Justin’s upper teeth were extracted, we placed his implants and gave him a fixed set of teeth. He never needed to wear a denture.

Due to this unfavorable prognosis and the patients desire for a better smile, it was clear All on X implant therapy/Zirconia hybrid was Justin’s best option.”
